Lewisburg Lighting Jeremy Haynes Does The Texas Two Step at The Dirt Track @ Texas


Fort Worth, TX November 12th 2008- The Thunder on Dirt Super Late Model Racing Series presented by Back Pocket Sim Racing Headed into Fort Worth, Texas this week to do battle on the famed Dirt Track @ Texas Motor Speedway. As the night kicked off Jeremy Haynes was a clear fan favorite by grabbing Teaspoon’s Bar & Grill quick time. Heat race number one would see Z-rocket46 show the way over Jeremy Haynes, while heat race number two would see David Comstock cruse to victory.

The 60 lap A Main event would see Z-rocket46 grab the early lead followed closely by David Comstock and Jeremy Haynes. Those three would put on one heck of a show with Z-rocket46 leading 54 laps, but lap traffic would hinder Z-rocket46 and Jeremy Haynes would grab the lead and roll on to victory making it two in a row behind the wheel of his number 2 Chevy sponsored by Napa Auto Parts/ Lewisburg Industrial and welding/ miller welders.

Z-rocket46 would finish in the runner-up position behind the wheel of his number 46 Chevy sponsored by Bobby Lake Motorsports/ Lester Buildings/ J&J Steel/ www.zracing.us. Huntington Beach, California native David Comstock would finish in the third position behind the wheel of his number 20 Chevy sponsored by Bass Pro Shops/ Tracker Boats. Florida native Bobby Howell would run in the fourth position behind the wheel of his number Lazer G2/ Edge Racing Engines sponsored number 1J entry, followed by chuckracer rounding out the top five.

Tennessee Native RNR_26 Dominates Season Opener at Gas City I-69 Speedway


Gas City, IN. November 11th 2008- The Thunder on Dirt Super Late Model Racing Series presented by Back Pocket Sim Racing kicked off its first ever open server series last night at the legendary quarter mile of Gas City I-69 Speedway. Some of the biggest stars in dirt late model racing showed up to make up a record 20 car turn out for the Thunder on Dirt Racing Series. With all the good drivers picking a winner was going to be tough for any fans, but RNR_26 came out like a man of fire and proved why he is one of the best in the business by winning Teaspoon’s Bar & Grill Quick Time, Back Pocket Sim Racing Heat #1, and leading all 50 laps of the Back Pocket Sim Racing A Main to roll into Gas City’s victory lane behind the wheel of his number 26 Ford Thunderbird sponsored by RNR Racing/ Dalton Direct Carpets/ Don Smith Ford-Lincoln-Mercury/ Autotec/ SimWizards.com/ RYR Racing.

South Carolina native RNR_C Beaver would grab the runner-up position on a pass with in five laps to go behind the wheel of his number 5 entry sponsored by Swiftco/ Century Plastics INC./ Beaver Bail Bonds/ Hamrick’s/ Wall 2 Wall Performance Engines. Endicott, NY driver OAS_Ellis would bring home the third position. RNR_Lenny out of Central Illinois, would grab the fourth position behind the wheel of his number 09 Ford sponsored by Penske Racing Shocks/ RCS/ Harley-Davidson/ RNR Motorsports. Rounding out the top five would be Jason Conway.

The remainder of the field at the finish would be OAS_Greg Todd, Kenny Slayton, KA_ GA Rocket, John LoPresto, BloodShed, Anthony Marcello, Todd Lockwood, HAR_TJ, D1{KidRocket17}, KA*let r eat, KA_RC31, RNR_Dustin, Chris

The 75 lap A Main would see RNR_26 and OAS_Ellis pace the field to the drop of the green flag. RNR_26 would grab the lead coming off turn two on the first lap and not look back as 17 guys chased him for the entire 75 laps. OAS_Ellis and RNR_C Beaver would both try and battle with RNR_26 for the lead numerous times but to no avail.

In preliminary action, RNR_26 was the top qualifier among 20 entries with a lap time of 10.969 seconds. Heat race winners would be RNR_26, OAS_Ellis, RNR_Lenny, RNR_Dustin.

Lewisburg Lighting Jeremy Haynes Chases Down Victory at RPM


Hays, Kansas November 5th 2008- The Thunder on Dirt Super Late Model Racing Series headed into Hays, Kansas to kick off its third season of dirt late model competition at RPM Speedway. With only five entries for the evening all heat race format was canceled and qualifying times, ran heads up in the feature. Jeremy Haynes out of Lewisburg Tennessee would find victory lane in the 75 lap A Main behind the wheel of his number 2 Chevy sponsored by Napa Auto Parts/ Lewisburg Industrial and welding/ miller welders.

His victory would come off of a lat race pass of Huntington Beach, California native David Comstock who would claim the runner-up position behind the wheel of his number 20 Chevy sponsored by Bass Pro Shops/ Tracker Boats. Lexington, North Carolina driver Zach Gardner would finish in third position behind the wheel of his number 11 Fed-ex sponsored Toyota. Paul Leigh Sr. would finish in the fourth position followed by David Epps out of South Carolina rounding out the top five.

BPR Money Race...Nov.22nd at Knoxville Speedway.

BPR will be running a 100 lap event at Knoxville Speedway to raise funds for BPR's members for trophies and other little goodies to be sent out next year during the league season. As an incentive, we will be paying out 25% to the winner 15% to 2nd place and 10% for 3rd, for those of you who may not be members at BPR. But there is one catch...you have to out run the BPR members....lol..Good Luck and Have Fun. This is an open server event to all paid entrants. Fee will be $10.00 and you must use a wheel and be on BPR's Teamspeak.....Sign-up in Forums

David Comstock finishes the season the way he started at Thunder Valley Raceway


Somerset County, Pennsylvania October 22, 2008- The Thunder on Dirt Super Late Model Racing Series headed into Somerset County, Pennsylvania to crown a points champion in the last venue of the season and at a track to tough to tame, Thunder Valley Raceway. The points battle started with many, but was down to just two. Jeremy Haynes with a career high six wins was sitting second only 52 points behind Zach Gardner. In hot lap sessions the two traded quick times back and forth. Qualifying time rolled around and to no surprise Jeremy Haynes would grab Teaspoon’s Bar & Grill Quick Time and Zach Gardner would be second quickest. Shaping up to be a classic battle for the points championship Jeremy Haynes would come out and win heat race number one. Heat race number two would be won by David Comstock. The A Main would see many different play outs of the points through out as Jeremy Haynes looked to have the championship won mid-race as Zach Gardner was running in the fourth position and Jeremy Haynes was leading the race, but with ten laps to go, a late race restart would see David Comstock show what he was made of by taking the lead away from Jeremy Haynes and hold off his late race charge to get to victory lane behind the wheel of his Huntington Beach, California based number 20 Chevy sponsored by Bass Pro Shops/ Tracker Boats.

Lewisburg Tennessee native Jeremy Haynes would claim the runner-up position in one of the closest finishes on record behind the wheel of his number 2 Chevy sponsored by Napa Auto Parts/ Lewisburg Industrial and welding/ miller welders. With a third place finish Lexington North Carolina native Zach Gardner would win the point championship behind the wheel of his number 11 Fed-ex sponsored Toyota. Young and up-coming New York driver Roumeal Francis would finish in the fourth position behind the wheel of his number 44 entry sponsored by Visa/ 3M. Z-Rocket would round out the top five.The remainder of the field at the finish would be Danny Thomas
